AMAZON is bigger than some countries
Duty hours of delivery drivers are too longer

Amazon has a market value is near about $1.14 trillion, making it one of the most powerful and valuable companies in the world. To put this in perspective, Amazon’s revenue in early 2017 was greater than the total GDP of Kuwait, according to Business Insider media reports.

Because it is such a large and powerful company, Amazon has often been criticized for its workplace culture and safety concerns. Nevertheless, the tech giant now employs nearly one million people worldwide, pays excellent wages, and provides generous employee benefits, and Amazon is now an economic powerhouse.

The experience of working for Amazon depends on many phases and factors, as warehouse workers, corporate employees, and delivery drivers both report gains and losses to the head office. Warehouse workers have protested in the US, France, and Italy during the coronavirus and other pandemics. But the company also temporarily raised wages by $2 an hour, which lasted from March to June.

It’s a great way to find out how much workers like working for Amazon, right, and whether to apply for a job there or not. The company’s job listings have fallen sharply since a huge hiring spree in March, but there are still about 30,000 vacancies.
